Atletico Madrid are preparing a €50m bid for Serbian striker Doosan Vlajovic from Fiorentina.

Sky Italia reports that Atletico Madrid have switched their targets to Vlajovic after an offer for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez was rejected. But the €50m offer might not. enough to get Fiorentina to release

The news reports that Vlahovic is negotiating a new contract with Fiorentina. He is close to agreeing an official contract. If all goes well, the 21-year-old forward will have a release clause in his new contract of €70 million.

Atletico Madrid will make their first bid at €50m plus a bonus. That putting Atletico ahead of rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in the race.

Vlajovic, who joined Fiorentina from Partizan in 2018 for just €2 million, is currently under contract with Viola until 2023, with the last season going on. 21 goals in 37 Serie A games
