Koeman warns Moriba not to think money is the most important thing. Barcelona midfielder Yax Moriba has been advised by Ronald Koeman to think more about his career than pay attention to wages.

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has warned Yaix Moriba. That he should be more concerned with his career than his finances affecting his future at the club. From the revelation with Marca on Friday.

Koeman gave Moreba the opportunity to emerge after sending the 18-year-old midfielder to his senior team debut last season. With players until the summer of 2022, Barcelona ended talks over a new deal as early as 2021 because Moriba’s representatives demanded overpayments. Before sending players to practice with the current B team

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has previously insisted he will not meet the demands of the players, with reports suggesting that Moriba will be ready to watch games in the stands awaiting a free transfer in the summer. Koeman has suggested the 18-year-old midfielder should be more concerned with his career future than financial matters.

‘I spoke to him a few weeks ago as a person rather than as a coach. His (Moriba) situation is very bad.’

‘My advice is money is not the most important thing at this moment in his career’

‘It’s playing a game. I am very disappointed because it is not the most important thing,’ Koeman said.
