Klopp confirmed he is negotiating a new contract Mohamed Salah. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he is negotiating a new contract with star forward Mohamed Salah.
Salah has hit every penny since joining from Roma in 2017, making 204 appearances on the field. He scoring 125 goals, leading the team to Premier League and Champions League titles each.
Speaking about Salah’s new contract ahead of Saturday’s clash with Burnley, Klopp said: “There is talk, yes, we are working on this.”
“With two years left on his contract, you can imagine there were talks. And it was like that, Salah is in good Phil and hopefully that will continue.
Salah’s current contract runs until 2023, while a new contract, which will be extended until 2025, would make the Egyptian star the club’s highest-paid player at £300,000-a-week.
